Untitled
[edit]Does anybody care that Trevor was born on the same day as a fashion designer? I think the relevance needs to be explained, or that part removed.
Midfielder
[edit]It should be pointed out that Brooking played in midfield for both West Ham and England, and was most famous for this.
However he did start off as a centre forward in his early days at WHU.
Cork City
[edit]Maybe he did, maybe he didn't. Putting references in from a subscription newspaper (ie to which you have to pay to see) goes against WP:CITE where it states under 'Why sources should be cited'.....To ensure that the content of articles can be checked by any reader or editor. I can't find any other references for this other than BEBO!. Perhaps it is part of a hoax. If it isn't the references need to be available to ANY reader.--Egghead06 (talk) 15:40, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
No maybe about it. Cork's official site's link now provided. Why would anyone make it up? Anymore changes will be vandalism.
- You can consider it what you wish - it's not your call. All you have done is provide a link to Cork's official site which does not mention Brooking. Your original references are not verifiable by ANY reader perhaps you would like to provide some?--Egghead06 (talk) 15:41, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Millwall trouble - why is this relevent? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.33.115.4 (talk) 10:28, 13 June 2013 (UTC)
- In a section marked 'Trevor Brooking stand' - because that stand it to where it relates.--Egghead06 (talk) 19:41, 13 June 2013 (UTC)

Trevor Brooking
[edit]I met Trevor through a friend of a friend in 1967 when he made his first full team appearance against Sunderland coming on the second half. Myself and my friends Ivan and Victor were seated in the players stand next to Alan Sealey. We made our own team up called Elan and he came to watch us play at Hackney Marshes also we met at Boleyn pub and one of our players had no socks to play in but Trevor bought over a pair of socks belonging to Bobby Moore to use. 2A00:23C5:3395:CE01:7891:13A:2B1:37E0 (talk) 06:57, 8 June 2021 (UTC)
