Tuff cuts

[edit]

Am I the only paramedic/nurse who's never heard them called "tuff cuts" before reading this article?

Well, that's hard to say. I'd only heard them called Tuf Cuts, never trauma shears. OwainDavies (about)(talk) edited at 08:46, 13 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Standar issue in an emergency tech's trauma bag in my area. Great for cutting just about anything, including up to 3 layers of denim at a time (but it takes a bit of strength). Can't personally admit to it (for legal reasons and all) but a standard set of trauma shears will cut through a US penny. --Nouniquenames 01:02, 15 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
