Is this an actual political movement?
[edit]Is this an actual political movement, or just a term coined by John Fonte to describe a perceived political trend? -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 05:55, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
- The sources have Fonte describing it as an "ideology." I've changed the lede to be consistent with this.EastTN (talk) 16:50, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
Relevance of the examples of attempts to change modern historical national narratives section
[edit]IMO this section is an example of the association fallacy, and should be removed and replaced with an examples section which is limited to examples of transnational progressivism which demonstrate most or all of the seven core beliefs outlined in the previous section. -- Gordon Ecker (talk) 06:10, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
- I agree, and have removed this section, as it consisted of original research. An examples section should only include examples which have been specifically referred to as cases of transnational progressivism. Robofish (talk) 18:04, 28 February 2010 (UTC)

Can this be trimmed?
[edit]This article at the moment seems like a blow-by-blow description of pretty much anything that's been written about "Transnational Progressivism," and something of an advertisement for John Fonte as well. Why does an article on Transnational Progressivism need to include where Fonte got his PhD from, and his public appearances on C-SPAN? Seems like this could be cut at least in half.
