Transmission Search
[edit]I've figured out the transmission search:
Move the outside dial's marker to the Cybertronian symbols along the outer rim. Then, move the inner dial's marker around the dial until the yellow percentage bar on the right side is full. This unlocks a transmission. --Dragonshardz (talk) 18:54, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
Trailbreaker
[edit]There is a blue autobot in the 2 minute trailer that is seen standing with turrets on each of his soldiers, that is obviously trailbreaker, so can we put him on the autobots rosterMastercarr (talk) 14:14, 16 January 2010 (UTC)-
- Trailbreaker is black in Generation 1, but blue in the Diaclone toys. Mathewignash (talk) 14:31, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
Then who is the blue autobot with the turret on each shoulder-74.103.123.57 (talk) 22:47, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
- We don't know yet. Mathewignash (talk) 00:43, 17 January 2010 (UTC)
G1 Smokescreen? Although he has red, he matches some of the description, but to be honest by now its probably just a type of enemy decepticons fight en masse, like grunts in other games.ThadiusCole (talk) 11:03, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
Warpath
[edit]The developer said Warpath will be in the game in one of the latest interviews as a tank character-74.103.123.57 (talk) 20:45, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
Quick pre-order information addition.
[edit]Just added to the Jazz and Demolisher info what stores sell them in the UK. If they need a link adding then just say and I will try and figure that out :) Not sure yet what shop will have Shockwave, anyone spotted him yet?ThadiusCole (talk) 10:59, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
Voice Actors
[edit]Someone should clean up the fanwank voice actors in there. 90% aren't confirmed and are merely speculation. 24.76.166.199 (talk) 22:49, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
- Considering that people actually have obtained copies of the game and put the credits up on YouTube for all to see, I think that we can start adding cast members... -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 18:43, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
- The fanwank actors have been removed about 20 or 30 times. People keep re-adding them. Hopefully that will slow down now that we have a REAL list of actors. Mathewignash (talk) 23:11, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
PC
[edit]Did tried out this game in Windows Vista or Windows 7 ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.49.92.130 (talk) 15:14, 11 August 2010 (UTC)
Cybertron Adventures
[edit]There needs to be more coverage on the Wii version of this game. It seems to be written based purely around the HD version, making no reference to how the Wii counterpart is a rail shooter, how it doesn't give players the same freedom to transform, and so on (and I'm not trashing the Wii version, I bought it for PS3 but I do own a Wii, and I'm just saying a little more coverage on that side of the new Transformers title would be helpful). Digitelle (talk) 21:34, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
- Hopefully this doesn't come out as offensive, but anyone is free to edit Wikipedia, so feel free to add any information you find. I'd agree that it needs to be added, but at the moment I'm expanding the next-gen version. Historically other titles (such as the two split DS games) have been their own articles, so once I feel like the TF:WFC next-gen version is complete I can assess whether TF: CA can be split or needs to be in this article. In the meantime feel free to add what you find from reliable sources and I'll organize it as I can. --Teancum (talk) 23:39, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
- Oh I'd do it myself, I know my way around wikis, it's just that I don't have an Internet connection at home right now, so I don't really have the resources to contribute :( Digitelle (talk) 15:50, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
This isn't Generation 1
[edit]Just to point out War for Cybertron is officially part of the upcoming Transformers: Prime TV series according to Hasbro. So these are not really the G1 characters, they are all new characters. While the game developers talked it up in interviews as based on the 1984 TV series, it contradicts that series in the plot - about a dozen characters who were not on Cybertron back then are present in the game (Grimlock, Stunticons, Aerialbots, Jetfire). Mathewignash (talk) 22:31, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
- I think I read somewhere that the game was sanctioned as canon to the Transformers mythos (pretty sure it was brought up in the IGN review). Now whether there's a source for that online, I'm not sure. Digitelle (talk) 22:58, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, it's part of the Transformers: Prime official story. Hasbro said so. Mathewignash (talk) 23:21, 23 June 2010 (UTC)
- Until we have citations for it being a prequel to the Prime series it isn't a fact. The only things I've found saying it's a prequel to the Prime series are forums posts, which aren't reliable per WP:RS. In fact, here is a search that gives note to the fact that nobody can be clear on what it's a prequel to. Still looking for reliable sources on both sides though, as I want to put this thing to bed. *EDIT* One support for the G1 prequel: here at 1:44 in. --Teancum (talk) 11:36, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
Keep progress from demo
[edit]Should the article mention whether or not you keep your progress from the demo when you buy the full game (I.E. if someone has a level five soldier on the demo and then they buy the game, will they still have a level five soldier or will they have to level up all over again?)Dalek9 (talk) 10:02, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
