Squished map
[edit]Missouri is crushed almost beyond recognition. St. Louis isn't even close to being in the right place. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.132.5.67 (talk) 22:25, 5 February 2011 (UTC)

- This article does not fit any category for wp:csd. If those who dislike it wish to, they may pursue its deletion or remediation at WP:AFD. (I have no opinion on the quality of the article and am only cleaning out the CSD backlog. This doesn't qualify.) Geogre 18:15, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
CSD/AFD?
[edit]This article (not started by me) is intended to be a companion article to Western Theater of the American Civil War and Eastern Theater of the American Civil War. It is marked as a stub, meaning that it is not finished yet. Most of the text in there now was dumped from other articles and has not been referenced or improved to the quality state of its companion articles. I may decide to do so, but others are welcome. (I will probably tackle Lower Seaboard Theater of the American Civil War next in this series.) If you choose to delete a stub because of inadequate quality, I could recommend many dozens of others that would rate deletion before this one. If there is something objectionable in the text that is there, feel free to edit it, but be aware that if the article progresses as its companion articles have, it is likely this text will be completely different when it's finished anyway. And for symmetry, it is likely that all five of the theater articles will eventually be written, by me or someone else. Hal Jespersen 18:51, 24 March 2006 (UTC)
- I think that was just a bad faith nomination/vandalism. See Dirae (talk · contribs) his talk page. I think the article is fantastic.Thatcher131 04:52, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
Expand vs. Stub
[edit]A stubsensor removed the stub template and suggested that we use expand instead. So I have added that template here. I guess this is the right move because there's a lot more info here than a true stub has. As I said above, I have not prioritized expanding this article very high in my list, so others are welcome to jump in. Hal Jespersen 15:30, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
Map
[edit]Camden is east of Poison Springs, but on the map it's to the west. The two sites on the map should be reversed. 206.255.247.219 (talk) 20:51, 15 February 2014 (UTC)
