This was actually brought up a few years ago on here, but not satisfactorily dealt with. I'd like to see if we can find some reliable sources that state that "The Champ" is a cover, or at least an interpolation, of "Tramp." We can't use a first-person reference of course, but compositionally speaking, they're the same song, down to "Tramp's" own (as recorded by Redding and Thomas) musical reference to The Temptations' "(I Know) I'm Losing You". --FuriousFreddy (talk) 14:12, 22 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
