I wonder if this is a good idea but I have started an article on traditional blues lyrics here.

There are some tricky issues:

originality versus tradition log jam could kill it
cramming it full of every blues verse any wikipedia contributor ever heard
etc.

Issues

At the bottom of the page "Hot Tamales" starts to get quoted but the song lyrics are never posted. I would edit it myself to include this but I cannot currently. If anyone sees this please add the lyrics. If not, I will do it when I get time in the future.
