Why was this article changed from 'Toyota U engine' to 'Toyota model U engines'? All the other Toyota engines articles are called 'Toyota * engine', where * is one or two letters according to Toyota's code for them. Toyota's code for this engine series is 'U', therefore this article should have remained as 'Toyota U engine'.  Stepho  talk  11:09, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is a redirect to Toyota U engine in the singular, so I have rated this talk page of Toyota U engines as Redirect class. Snowman (talk) 23:56, 20 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Oops, I didn't see that 's' at the end. It was moved from 'Talk:Toyota U engine' (singular) to 'Talk:Toyota model U engines' (5 July 2012), moved to ' Talk:Toyota U engines' (plural, 6 July 2012). The original talk page was changed to a redirect (5 July 2012) and then that redirect was removed, making it the primary talk page again. I suggest we just delete the plural article (a redirect) and this talk page as they no longer serve a purpose.  Stepho  talk  00:10, 21 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I do not know if it merits deleted or not, but sometimes the pleural is a useful redirect. I do not plan to contribute to a delete discussion on this page, but I think that it is likely that it will be kept. Snowman (talk) 00:22, 21 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
