Bad grammar in first line
[edit]OSX, I'm going to go ahead and change this again. I know the article covers both versions, which is why I replaced "Toyota Camry (ACV30, MCV30)" with "ACV30 and MCV30". What was already there is simply bad English. From Bracket#Parentheses_.28_.29, "Parentheses ... contain material that could be omitted without destroying or altering the meaning of a sentence." If you omit the parentheses, your version of the article reads "The Toyota Camry are the sixth generation versions of the Toyota Camry" which is not useful. I don't see what's wrong or unhelpful about "The ACV30 and MCV30 are the sixth generation versions of the Toyota Camry".
Unless "Toyota Camry (ACV30, MCV30)" is an exact phrase which Toyota themselves (or experts on the subject) verifiably use, indeed use in the plural sense, then I can't see how its use here can be endorsed. Balfa (talk) 15:19, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
This particular model is not generation 6
[edit]OSX, it's not only the North American market that claims this model as the fifth generation but the Australians even label the 2002-2006 Ateva, Grande, Azure, and Sportivo Camrys as part of the fifth generation, not sixth. Wfrmsf (talk) 12:25, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
