Does anyone want to mention the advertisements for tourism in Serbia that were played on CNN? (which were mostly pretty crappy, but oh well)

Here's a link to the commercials on YouTube: YouTube Video results for 'tourism serbia cnn' -Stop The Lies 00:03, 22 January 2007 (UTC)Stop_The_Lies
And also how CNN had agreed to extend the life of the ad to make up for failing to produce anything of any quality and actually mixing up locations and using the same music for different countries' advertisements? (More can be read here). Stop The Lies 07:08, 13 February 2007 (UTC)Stop_The_Lies

Fair use rationale for Image:Suncokreti.jpg

Image:Suncokreti.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Nightlife sentence

"Nightlife in Serbia (particularly Belgrade) is very vivid and rich. Nighlife in Serbia is something that every tourist is fond of. You can find a wide spectar of clubs and bars that work every night. Serbians are friendly and very social so you don't have to wait for weekends to go out"

This reads like something from a travel brochure and sounds like it needs re-wording. Ideas? 86.152.114.233 (talk) 14:40, 19 September 2009 (UTC)

added to kosovo project

I have added this to the wikiproject kosovo because it contains content related to kosovo, we need to review this for neutrality. thanks James Michael DuPont (talk) 15:17, 17 November 2010 (UTC)

Some neutrality problems

The article mentioned some stuff in Kosovo, pretending that Kosovo is a province of Serbia, whilst neglecting to mention that Kosovo declared independence. This is unfortunate; it's a serious NPOV problem. I tried removing the problematic text but, as ever, WhiteWriter just hit the revert button. Why does this keep on happening? Of course, any reliable source printed outside Belgrade would say that Djeravica is the highest peak in Kosovo, rather than Serbia. bobrayner (talk) 01:46, 28 October 2012 (UTC)

While officially Đeravica is highest point of Serbia, we must mention it de jure. But, it is not that important to have it here, as it is not essential for the articles section... --WhiteWriterspeaks 10:10, 28 October 2012 (UTC)

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to 6 external links on Tourism in Serbia. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Images

@PajaBG: @WEBDuB: What do you guys think about adding a few images? Tourism in Serbia is one of the rare pages of this type which is not showing any. I was thinking to limit the selection as seen on Tourism in Malta and Tourism in Switzerland. Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 03:08, 1 November 2020 (UTC)

Of course. I absolutely agree. Here you can see my shortlist of photos. --WEBDuB (talk) 10:50, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
I planned to ad a photo to illustrate the text so far [1] (Built in 1869, "Srpska Kruna" was one of the first modern hotels in Belgrade. Today it hosts Belgrade City Library). But other, generic photos are OK. PajaBG (talk) 10:47, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
I fully agree with your selection. Sadkσ (talk is cheap) 13:37, 3 November 2020 (UTC)
