Merger
[edit]} The above mentioned new article called Tourist attractions of Poland was created without the apparent knowledge of the existence of this article. I'd like to wait a few days for the community feedback before performing the necessary merger. Comments appreciated. --Poeticbent talk 17:23, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

Persistent long-term abuse of editing privileges
[edit]Please do not engage in sockpuppetry, and stop pushing crummy pics of your own hometown in disregard for WP:NOTADVERTISING policy guideline. Stop deleting references in order to include unsupported statistics. Your removal of reliable third-party sources is unacceptable. Do not revert most obvious improvements → images of UNESCO tourist sites with over 1 million visitors annually are the leading destinations across Poland, therefore they are preferable. We are not interested in advertising your neighborhood by the soccer stadium in Wrocław. Start using talk page and stop clicking the revert button outside the 24-hour window to circumvent the 3RR report. All new data needs to be referenced when the suspicion of WP:SNEAKY has been expressed several times already. Poeticbent talk 23:50, 13 October 2013 (UTC)
Protection
[edit]I've just fully protected this page for three days due to the ongoing edit warring. Please discuss the issue on the talk page instead of continually reverting. Mark Arsten (talk) 15:53, 14 October 2013 (UTC)
So == Current shuffling of images on right sidebar ==
We are getting into a bit of a tussle on what images need to be in the right sidebar of the article:
- Wawel Royal Castle Krakow Poland by blaat.jpg vs Krakow Wawel 20070920 1299.jpg
- Krakow Wawel 20070920 1299.jpg shows the entire hill from the river, a much more pleasing foreground than the kiosk in the other photo
- Project Riese vs Wieliczka-saltmine-kinga.jpg
- Wieliczka-saltmine-kinga.jpg is a world heritage site the other isn't (plus it's 3 photos from Silesia, we're trying to make sure we have coverage spread around the country) Plus we already have Auchwitz representing WWII era.
- Ratusz2noc.jpg or Wroclaw HalaLudowa Fontanna.jpg
- again, we can only have so many from one region of poland, Wroclaw Town Hall is much more visually interesting
We need to keep the regional and subject balance to represent ALL of Poland, not just Silesia. Ajh1492 (talk) 12:53, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
I've added a second multiple image tag and a second image from Warsaw. We really need an images from Northwest and Southest Poland. Natural pictures vs cityscapes. Ajh1492 (talk) 13:30, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
- How about if we go by the city instead, i.e. only one photograph per location. For example, Warsaw has two pictures now. And please consider changing Wrocław Town Hall to a nice photo of UNESCO Centennial Hall which is a prime tourist destination. (like this) Thanks, — Poeticbent talk 14:38, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
- So in the last round of the edit circle, I saw the following comment in the summary -
(Undid revision 580143711 by Ajh1492 (talk) Hall Wroclaw >> Hall Wroclaw! About this bog, even in Poland, few have heard, so no exaggeration to placing him here) I bring it up here so we can discuss the concerns. Ajh1492 (talk) 17:07, 4 November 2013 (UTC)
Everyone will have to excuse the blatant cut-n-paste from Mark Arsten's talk page, but it's very relevant on resolving this edit cycle:
Why should I say that I run a war and not others? Ask yourself the trouble and help and see. They write that kind of nonsense equally from each region of the picture, and we put a few of one! Poland has 16 voivodeships, images are currently 15, including up to 5 (1/3) of the Lesser Poland! So I rely on the insertion of the second equality photos from Lower Silesia is absurd. Rather should delete some pictures of Lesser Poland. WKS Śląsk Wrocław (talk) 16:36, 4 November 2013 (UTC)
Pillory me if you must, but we've got to resolve this somehow. Ajh1492 (talk) 17:14, 4 November 2013 (UTC)
"The Bog" is at Polesie National Park (Polish: Poleski Park Narodowy) in Lublin Voivodeship. Some people like visiting natural locations like bogs. Ajh1492 (talk) 17:33, 4 November 2013 (UTC)
- Some people. How many? Too little to put it here WKS Śląsk Wrocław (talk) 11:53, 6 November 2013 (UTC)

LUBELSKIE - 1
I've made two of the changes I proposed above, so we've got a reasonably well spread out set of photos from all parts of Poland. Ajh1492 (talk) 15:10, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
I repeat that this is not a page of UNESCO. This article is about tourism in Poland. In Poland, many activities that are not on the list of UNESCO enjoys greater popularity. Definitely more people visit the old city in Wroclaw than Centennial Hall, Peace Churches, Orthodox churches, the old town of Toruń and Zamosc!
Refers to the equal number of photos from each province, and you can not even count how many of what it is.
Lower Silesia

Our final choice
[edit]Please provide online references confirming that Łukie Lake in Polesie National Park and Łysa Góra in the Świętokrzyski National Park are the most prized tourist destinations in Poland, with Łysa Góra being the most important of all locations in the country (top photo selection). Thanks, Poeticbent talk 17:28, 13 November 2013 (UTC)
- The point is that if we stop using common sense in photo selection for our article, and instead, give in to POVed demands by users blocked for edit warring, suddenly... any old piece of crap becomes good enough. Poeticbent talk 18:39, 13 November 2013 (UTC)
idiots
[edit]Sorry but you need to write, you morons. Yes idiots, because if someone says that the lake Lukie is known in Poland, or that Lysa Gora is the most famous place in Poland then you need to tell him that he is a moron without a clue. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.99.45.74 (talk) 13:51, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
