Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Players offers no examples. I have seen small and 100% width on several other player articles, but that's not necessary. I suspect the forced width was because the creator made it start collapsed (which violates MOS:DONTHIDE) and they didn't want the table to jump when it expanded. I suspect that has become a "standard" even for non-collapsed tables. It's not necessary, and actually becomes a problem with readers who have wide monitors (as it leaves a lot of unnecessary white space). As for reducing the size, MOS:FONTSIZE suggests that "Reduced or enlarged font sizes should be used sparingly, and are usually done with automated page elements such as headings, table headers, and standardized templates." This table isn't a standardized template, but it is common. Since the content wraps inside the table, reducing the font size is not needed. Think now of mobile users, where the table is narrow, it's going to wrap even at 90% of the default font size. Walter Görlitz (talk) 20:29, 9 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Ricketts' contract went through the 2021 season[1], which of course, has ended. There are no reports that he has re-signed, and now that the date has passed, he is a free agent. I don't believe I need a source that confirms his 'release.' If he is not under contract, then he is not with the club.
If I am incorrect, could you point me towards the policy for this sort of thing, because this must be fairly common. Last time, with Gutierrez, you only told me that your way was the right way, but I would like to see something in writing!
