Queen Berry of Torch was one of the targets of the unknown assassins. The former head of the Ballroom slave liberation organization, Jeremy X-now one of Torchs top officials, but still considered by many the most dangerous terrorist in the galaxy-calls in some past favors owed to him. In response, a security officer from Beowulf arrives in Torch to take charge of Queen Berrys security-a task made doubly difficult by the young monarchs resentment of bodyguards and the security officers own growing attachment to her.
Meanwhile, powerful forces in the Solarian League are maneuvering against each other to gain the upper hand in what they all expect to be an explosive crisis that threatens the very existence of the League itself. - read less About the Author

Hi Piotrus (talk · contribs). Here are some sources about the book Torch of Freedom:

timestamp mismatch; 2023-06-10 suggested (help)The review notes: "Torch of Freedom: Keepers of the Flame offers a fine story of the slavemasters of Mesa who plot against the star Kingdom of Manticore and the newly liberated slave planet of Torch. Assassins, top secret organizations, interplanetary terrorism, and more make for a powerful story of political intrigue perfect for any military-oriented science fiction library."

Contemporary Authors New Revision Series: A Bio-Bibliographical Guide to Current Writers in Fiction, General Non-Fiction, Poetry, Journalism, Drama, Motion Pictures, Television, & Other Fields. The book notes: "Flint and Weber wrote the fourth installment in the series, Torch of Freedom. Victor returns and joins Anton Zilwicki to discover who has been conducting assassinations on Manticore and Torch, the newly liberated slave planet. It could be Mesa, but some suspect Haven. One target is Queen Berry of Torch. Beowulf sends security, and Jeremy-X, the former head of the slave liberation organization, calls in favors to protect her. It is evident that the Solarian League is in trouble as its members line up against one another."
As the coverage is very thin about the book, I recommend a redirect to Honorverse#Crown of Slaves series per Wikipedia:Deletion policy#Alternatives to deletion. Cunard (talk) 09:19, 10 June 2023 (UTC)
