[edit]Sourced to its own website Jimfbleak - talk to me? 08:33, 14 July 2023 (UTC)
- Redirected for lack of independent coverage. It is expected to be a commercial product, but it has not been released to the public or for independent review. Nor has it participated in competitions run by neutral parties. Usedtobecool ☎️ 10:00, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
- Lmao why was this deleted? It is EXTREMELY notable. Just ask anyone who follows computer chess. Stockfish and LC0 have their own articles and so should torch. Jack234567 (talk) 22:22, 8 September 2023 (UTC)
Reverted
[edit]I have reverted this since I think it is clearly notable enough to have its own article, @Usedtobecool Jack234567 (talk) 10:33, 17 September 2023 (UTC)
- Sorry I didn't answer before @Jack234567. You started your comment with "Lmao" which led me to believe you were just a passerby reader. Do you think this is notable solely because "anyone who follows computer chess" would agree that this is "EXTREMELY notable", or do you have any independent sources with significant coverage? I can't find any. Best I can tell, everything that's known about this engine is "Chess.com says...". Usedtobecool ☎️ 10:46, 17 September 2023 (UTC)
- It was covered by dot esports [[1]] Its the first secondary source referenced. Jack234567 (talk) 11:17, 17 September 2023 (UTC)
- @Jack234567 It's not an independent source. It's just repeating chess.com's claims. These kinds of sources do not count. Usedtobecool ☎️ 15:47, 19 September 2023 (UTC)
- I'm not sure what you mean by 'not independent source'. Dot Esports certainly isn't owned by chess.com or any subsidiary of it. Perhaps, you mean that they don't have any new information to add? But it reflects the interest shown in this engine by many computer chess followers. Jack234567 (talk) 14:42, 25 September 2023 (UTC)
