[edit]Trivia: Part of the movie (where dustin hoffman returns the ring?) was filmed at the Hurley Mountain Inn:
"In fact, Hollywood scoured the United States for just the right spot to feature in the movie “Tootsie” starring Dustin Hoffman, Bill Murray, Charles Durning and Jessica Lange. Of course, they picked the Hurley Mountain Inn. People still come here today to see where Dustin Hoffman performed his award-winning role."

I was a better man with you as a woman than I ever was with a woman as a man." and she forgives him emphasis mine. while there is a great explanation of the plot, what of the final conclusion? I think it needs to presented in such a way that gives it more importance. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.84.203.53 (talk) 23:28, 20 December 2007 (UTC)

Grammar
[edit]"The theme song to the film, It Might Be You, which was sung by singer-songwriter Stephen Bishop, whose music was composed by Dave Grusin". I don't think it's grammatically-correct to refer to a thing (the song) as if it were a person: "whose music was composed". I know we are encouraged to Be Bold and make edits to content, but I have a feeling no one but me would care much about this, so I'm not going to be bold here. EricTN (talk) 06:32, 6 May 2017 (UTC)
- Agreed: the wording seems awkward. I attempted to fix. Barte (talk) 15:15, 19 April 2018 (UTC)
No credit for Bill Murray in opening credits!
[edit]Anyone know the backstory as to how Murray was slighted in the opening--and maybe closing too?--credits? Thanks in advance! [signed] FLORIDA BRYAN 2600:1700:B9B0:4500:A94C:A522:15E0:C619 (talk) 20:11, 30 June 2024 (UTC)
