While performing in 1959 in Hamburg, in 1959, they were still known as the quarrymen, and they didn't leave liverpool for hamburg until summer 1960. so that statement is impossible. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.34.152.84 (talk) 22:45, 7 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

BLP status change

[edit]

Due to the death of this person, the BLP status of this article has changed. "This does not mean that unsourced material that would contravene the Biography of Living Persons rules can be added to this article. Capitalistroadster (talk) 09:36, 22 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I've seen indications (like this L.A. Times obit) that Thielemans legally changed his name to "Toots" at some point. Doesn't that mean we should introduce Toots Thielemans first in the lede and describe Jean-Baptiste Frédéric Isidor Thielemans as his "birth name"? (Don't ask me where Baron Thielemans goes under this revision.) Powers T 19:59, 22 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

“Years active” extend past death?

[edit]

I suggest the active years range should end at death or earlier. 166.181.84.173 (talk) 08:29, 30 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
