[edit]It's obvious that there is a major work of editing going on; whether it is by party representatives, or by campaign cohorts, there is a major edit required!!
- 1) "Box" his respective riding histories.
- 2) "Disambiguate" those who appeared at his gala (I have begun to do so...) Surley Redina must know that Monte Solberg et al is not listed in wiki as Hon. Monte Solberg
- 3) uh, that's it for now...

Thanks, Bacl-presby. I was at the gala event and then made the additions to the article. I should have checked that the names did not link properly. Thanks for correcting that. User:Redina
Accusing someone of doing something contradictory to the Ethics Code deserves some sort of proof. Nobody has accused him of doing anything contradictory and his evidence is that he went beyond what was required by the Ethics Code.
NPOV tag added. The "Accomplishments" section should be retitled and should deal with all aspects of his political career rather than highlighting positive examples. "A Salute to a Friend" is obscenely pro-Valeri and also probably consists of information that is entirely non-notable and thus doesn't warrant mention here anyway. That about covers it. —Cuiviénen 16:12, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
Cuivienen:
The "Accomplishments" section is structured in exactly the same way as other current and former Canadian politicians and nobody has seen fit to make comments regarding "neutrality".
And the "Salute to a Friend" was the title of the Gala Event held in his honour. Perhaps that should have been made clearer but in any event, this was an event held by the people of Hamilton and he received praise from people across the political spectrum.User:Redina
As a postscript, I edited the Gala section to make it more evident that this was the name of an event, rather than a biased title. As for the accomplishments section, add something else in if you want, but the word accomplishment usually means that it contains things which have been done - it's obviously going to be positive (eg no-one says "He did not do X,Y or Z" under accomplishments). If you have something to add, then add it - there are negatives and positives in that article. No need to attach "neutrality dispute" labels so readily.User:Redina
