Tony Smith (GC)Anthony Smith (rescuer) – The subject is best known as a rescuer. It was for a very gallant rescue that he was awarded the Georges Cross, this is why he is notable. In other RM's and discussions the unsuitability of (GC) as a disambiguator has been made clear. There is no good reason why the title uses his supposed nickname "Tony", this ought to be corrected at the same time to his full name, which is used by the sources. — Frayæ (Talk/Spjall) 20:46, 1 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
