Re-write

I have re-written the article to remove the material that was tagged as copyright violation, and attached sources. The article is missing an exact birth date (and I have extrapolated the birth year from mentions of Mr Clements age - someone please correct if neccessary!). A photo would also be nice, if possible, but I haven't found one that's within wikipedia's image use guidelines.
