Conflict of interest

[edit]

The article was created by DenieceBetts (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log), who claimed in an edit summary to be the mother of Qaasim Middleton. Since the subject of this article also is claimed to be Middleton's mother, it stands to reason that User:DenieceBetts is the subject. —C.Fred (talk) 00:58, 29 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

C.Fred is obviously not a fan of either, but, Deniece Betts is a manager of Toni Seawright. I think the animosity to have Toni Seawright's entry deleted comes from the fact that C.Fred (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) continues to put in Qaasim's article on Wikipedia that Qaasim is 14 and was born in 1995 and he was born in 1996. It is my responsibility and duty to correct Qaasim's board as I edit Toni Seawright's boards as well. As a publicist through G-Q Media, I correct for the both of them as it is my duty to make sure that they are represented and shown in the best of light. I speak for the both of them because I am granted power of attorney to do. Nonetheless, the historical achievements of my client are factual and can be googled at any length to prove data and entry. http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Miss_Mississippi This can be argued and proven at anytime on various sites. We appreciate C.Fred's "concern".. but it's hard to see where he's coming from with the entries on either board. When C.Fred (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) continues to alter and change truth about Qaasim Middleton, it affects-not only his reputation and validity of his age when others ask-but also makes him a little upset becuase of the misinformation put in his article by C.Fred (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log). I will continue to edit Toni Seawright's board throughout the week with factual information and links as I have the time to do so. I will, also, continue to edit any misinformation put on the boards by C.Fred or any other user who gives false and/or misleading information pertaining to my client's son. I As far as Ms. Seawright's board is concerned, we ask the boards to give us the time to edit and reference all articles pertaining to the validity, professionalism, achievements and reputation of Toni Seawight. Thanks in adance, DenieceBetts

As was noted at Middleton's page, I've removed the date of birth entirely because there is no independent source whatsoever. While you may be a representative of Seawright and Middleton, that doesn't relieve the requirement of verifiability: the information in the article must be backed up by reliable sources, and there are limited places where a primary source can be used. Even then, it should be a published primary source; right now, the only thing to back up your claims is your claim to represent the two individuals. If you have concerns with the material in the articles, please look at the remedies available at WP:Autobiography#Problems in an article about you; in the absence of an OTRS ticket, the guidelines of WP:BLP prevail, including the verifiability requirement. —C.Fred (talk) 02:25, 6 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think that you, C.Fred (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log), have taken most of this out of context and content for no apparent reason other than, what comes to mind, control. I appreciate your efforts and concern. It means that you are watching the boards and that's a good thing. However, we love the fact that you update Qaasim's board. Honestly, Qaasim appreciates it and so does his Mom. Nonetheless, it's somewhat bothersome that you would "remove" his date of birth entirely because there is NO independent source whatsoever? Frankly, the only reliable and/or verifiable sources of someone's birthdate would come from their birth records and I don't think anyone on Wikipedia has had to have anything of that nature to "verify" their birthdate and/or records. I think that you are being very petty and it's really for no reason whatsoever. If you are a fan, then, getting first hand information from someone who knows him and knows him well should be verification enough. Wikipedia asks us to verify and or put information on the pages that we are sure of etc., and that of someone's birthdate is definitely NOT something that you would find on the internet unless it came from a reliable source. Nonetheless, you would continue to put a wrong date of birth on Qaasim Middleton's page and he would see it and get upset that someone would continue to change it back to 1995. Then someone else put in the records that he was "Cole's" cousin and that wasn't true either. We are very familiar with Qaasim and his mother and father's family. However, all we ask is that whatever you put, do understand that he is a "minor" and he reads those things that are said about him and if there's something on Wikipedia that isn't true, we opt to change it. Instead of arguing and debating with us, I urge you to help us maintain both boards as we edit and produce other verirfiable information that you can use on either. You seem to know the boards well, so, that is my charge to you. Thanks, in advance, DenieceBetts

I am cleaning out the article

[edit]

I am cleaning out the article.
The references that weren't cited right was just cluttering the page up at the moment.
They can be found at my sandbox User:ATC/Sandbox/Toni Seawright References where they can be fixed and sorted out later.
By the way, was this information copy and pasted from those referenced website and articles?
ATC . Talk 15:15, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for that. But, the reason we used the links pertaining to the NBB "Everybody's Cried at Least Once" and "Mystery Girl" is because they both listed Ms. Seawright's credits as an actor there and C.Fred (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) said that he needed to see those references available-as rightfully so. I don't know how to correctly do that, but those links are in your sandbox at the moment. Moreover, we were using the other links pertaining to her being Miss Mississippi and Qaasim's mom as well as the links to the Time Magazine and NY Times paper because C.Fred (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) felt that those references should be mentioned and viewed as verifiable references because of those mentions in the article and we do agree with him. Nonetheless, we've made those references available. The links and the description of each link are there as well. That's why we had so many links and web sites to refer to. And yes, we agree, they were cluttering. However, if you can use them, as inclusive references in the re-editing of the article, we would appreciate it. I can attempt to do later on this week. And I've checked your page, and you've done a great job on editing ALL of your articles, please help us keep this board under good edited control and do help us keep it clean. WE do appreciate it. Thanks, DenieceBetts
