Bad Link
[edit]The link to the reference Brinton, Daniel g, 1894, "Nagualism: A Study in Native-American Folklore and History" no longer works and should be corrected.
Cleanup
[edit]Presumably the article's clean up notice indicates the lack of Aztec and Mayan mythology information as on the Tonal disambiguation page and the Nagual article. Hyacinth 10:57, 22 August 2005 (UTC)
Yes, this article could use clean up. All of this: "Consider this way: If you think of the concept it's Tonal. Of course, there's the question: "If I can think of the Nagual, that doesn't make it a part of the Tonal?", but the answer is that Tonal/Nagual are a true pair and that you can't "think of" about the Nagual, you can only feel it’s effect. There's also the concept of a personal Tonal that starts with the birth and end in the death, and the "Tonal of the Times" that spans an entire age." reads like opinion.
I've read Castaneda's books and I don't recall reading this information. Maybe some sources for this info?--Cyberhero 15:25, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
- Are you saying the Tonal / Nagual explaination can only be dependent on Castanedas own description of his understanding (opinion) of don Juans teachings?
- Hmmm how can we explain something that cannot really be explained in this reality? (the reality of the tonal) Just thinking out loud. :-)222.152.242.236 01:23, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
