Introduction
• I was able to find lots of information about Murayama Tomoyoshi from many reliable sources. Most of these sources did not have too many information about his childhood but it had lots of information on his career life such as MAVO, influences, and etc. I was hoping to find more about his childhood information but finding information about his career is more useful.

Current Wikipedia
- The current Wikipedia of Murayama Tomoyoshi has a good outline but does not have enough details. For example, the post war section is very short. We can expand it to say how his works has influenced the future artists. Also, I would insert a list of all his works chronically if I was to make a new page. This will help the reader’s to see all his works in just one glance.
Weisenfeld, Gennifer S. Mavo: Japanese Artists and the Avant-garde, 1905-1931. Berkeley: U of California, 2002. Print.
- Explains what the Japanese Artist group, MAVO, is all about. This is useful because Tomoyoshi was in this group.
Harootunian, Harry D. Overcome by Modernity: History, Culture, and Community in Interwar Japan. N.p.: n.p., n.d. Print.
- Explains the projects Tomoyoshi did in the 1920s. Also goes into details on how his works were influenced by MAVO and his works influenced politically. It is a very useful source.
Osaki, Tomohiro. "'Murayama Tomoyoshi: Get All of Me Seething'" Japan Times RSS. N.p., 04 Apr. 2012. Web. 28 Apr. 2015.
- Shows which works has influenced him throughout his career. It is not that useful.
Maerkle, Andrew. "Frieze Magazine | Archive | Archive | Tomoyoshi Murayama." Frieze Magazine RSS. N.p., Sept. 2012. Web. 28 Apr. 2015.
- It starts with explaining the time period Tomoyoshi was in and then goes into detail about his career life. Very useful because other sources do not outline his career like this.
Clark, John. Modern Asian Art. Honolulu: U of Hawaii, 1998. Print.
- It also explains the definition of Avant-Garde and how Tomoyoshi’s work is related to this. It is not very useful because other sources have explained all this.
