Advice/clarification welcome
[edit]Hi folks,
I'm largely responsile for this page's creation. It's my first from-scratch Wiki draft so I have tried to follow the guidelines/best practice and cite/source everything appropriately, and to take my guide from existing, long-standing pages of similar personalities. I have check the guidelines for notability, reviewed against the Wiki style guides (as best as I'm able), avoided relying on subject's own publications/website and edited out several areas/content that related to awards on the basis that these could dipslay bias/verge on press releasery.
However, I should also flag that I have a COI (a non-financial, non-work-related relationship to the subject) and so am not best placed to judge whether the article as a whole has merit/passes the standards required for a Wiki. If any editors have any suggestions for improvement I am happy to hear them.
Thanks! OtisSpanner (talk) 09:30, 2 November 2022 (UTC)
Filmography sourcing
[edit]Thanks to @Mattdaviesfsic for your feedback having reviewed the draft of this page.
I have now added links to the Filmography table to source the page subject's involvement/role in each of those listed, and removed a couple from the table where IMDB (which I believe isn't counted under Wiki guidelines as a reliable source) was the only public reference I could find.
Does this help resolve your feedback, or were/are you looking for sourcing for other info within the table (e.g. links to reviews/press coverage of the programmes to demonstrate their notability in their own right)?
Any confirmation/advice you could give would be much appreciated so I don't waste anyone's time resubmitting for review prematurely! OtisSpanner (talk) 12:50, 16 January 2023 (UTC)
- No, that's brilliant. Feel free to resubmit when you want and I - or another reviewer - will accept it. Well done, great work! Mattdaviesfsic (talk) 13:58, 16 January 2023 (UTC)
- Perfect! Thanks for coming back so quickly, and for your time reviewing/advising to help me improve it. OtisSpanner (talk) 10:11, 17 January 2023 (UTC)
- As the amends have been made, reviewed and marked as acceptable (c-class page) by a reviewer, I have now removed the warning labels added in August 2022. OtisSpanner (talk) 07:58, 3 June 2023 (UTC)
