Notability

[edit]

This person is the lead singer of a successful band. Why is notability a question ?

Musicians with a far lower profile or level of success have Wikipedia pages.

Would the Editor who questioned the existance of this page please consider removing the notability tag.

Irish decent?

[edit]

If he's to be categorised as of Irish decent, then it needs to be mentioned in the article and cited. TomGreen 19:54, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

Agreed. The Irish Brigade clearly seek out articles on anyone notable (especially English people) with a vaguely Irish-sounding name and add the all-too familiar categories without bothering to find any supporting sources. It's so transparent. 86.20.255.1 (talk) 18:23, 7 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Media Controversies

[edit]

Why is turning down a role in a film in favor of committment to one's band controversial? Isn't it just a perfectly normal and common business decision? 78.42.94.226 (talk) 08:34, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
