Recently bought land on Yowell Hill road. One of my neighbors said the the old road/fence line was originally used by Oklahoma ranchers to drive their cattle into Texas. Us this true?

I believe that there are actually three churches in Tom Bean. There is a Church of Christ in addition to the two mentioned in the current article.

If my memory is correct, there was only one "Annual Chiggerfest," and it wasn't very successful. I suppose that all the good festival names were already taken.
