[edit]The section on the relationship with Pentax is completely unsubstantiated, and appears incorrect in some details. Matthew Miller (talk) 17:14, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
Some information is available from the German web magazine [1]. The cooperation seems to have started in 2004, in 2006 the lenses became available. 178.198.2.123 (talk) 11:33, 16 January 2016 (UTC)
Speculation
[edit]I have removed this:
- but the future of the Tokina brand name is currently uncertain. A likely scenario is that the Tokina design lab will be merged with the Pentax lens division, with lenses sold for Pentax mount under that brand name, and for other mounts (Canon, Nikon) continuing to be sold under the Tokina brand. It is also possible that the new company will discontinue the availability of Tokina/Pentax lens designs for use on other SLR camera systems.
because it is unsourced speculation derived most likely from internet forums not populated by anyone actually in the know. Matthew Brown (Morven) (T:C) 00:18, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
I was looking for a list of Tokina lenses
[edit]Wouldn't it be nice to have a list of current Tokina lenses? I am looking for a lens similar to a Sigma 30/1.4 DC for my Canon EF/EF-S mount. --89.204.139.231 (talk) 09:39, 5 January 2013 (UTC)
