Transliteration

Better yet, it IS tohu wa wohu. The Hebrew letter 'b'(et) does not contain a punctuation mark (in it) so it should be pronounced as 'v'(et). In modern Hebrew: 'w'(et). SaksischRos (talk) 01:57, 8 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The recent rewrite replaced a large amount of the text here and instead of Bible commentaries uses encyclopedias - the Catholic Encyclopedia and the Encyclopedia Judaica. Neither is very good. The article needs better sources. Yngvadottir (talk) 11:57, 25 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The correct hebrew pronunciation is TOHU VA-VOHU

I live in Israel and Hebrew is my mother's tounge.

My English is not good enough to explain the rules of hebrew grammar (which are very complicated...), but I can say with absolute certainty, that the only correct way to pronounce the word is TOHU VA-VOHU.

all the other suggestions sound completely weird, and are just wrong.

Tohu and Bohu as Entities of Some Kind

I have a vague memory that some people have said that Tohu and Bohu are something more than just adjectives or what have you- they are entities of some kind. Here's an example of what I'm talking about. [1] I am not an expert on the subject, so I just leave this here in case anyone is interested and can determine if this content may be useful.
