While there is undoubtedly resemblance between this article and Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles, I believe that in the abscence of further evidence we should conclude that the material originated here. The germs of this content have been present in the article since its creation in November 2004. Note this early and significant edit, where the sentence "The Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles is a baseball team founded in 2004 to begin play in 2005 in the JapanesePacific League in order to replace the Orix Blue Wave and the Kintetsu Buffaloes, who merged at the end of the 2004 season due to financial difficulties." was altered to "The Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles is a baseball team founded in 2004 to begin play in 2005 in the JapanesePacific League. The team was created to fill the void left by the merger of the Orix Blue Wave and the Kintetsu Buffaloes, who merged at the end of the 2004 season due to financial difficulties, leaving the league short of an even number of teams." This is not definitive by any means, but does suggest creative evolution here. The oldest archived version of that website is 14 March 2005. Again, this is not definitive, as there may be as much as a six month lag between the creation of a website and its archival. But it does create enough doubt, with the sign of natural evolution, that I believe we may remove the tag. If more evidence pops up, it may be appropriate to restore it, of course. :) --Moonriddengirl(talk)14:37, 24 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
