This is a strangely gooey bit of stuff to have in an encyclopedia, and the bit about "It is well symbolized by the gesture of holding both hands up, slightly cupped with palms facing each other, and moving them together to create a circle" is just bizarre. Does it make any sense to have this entry at all? Why not just have "togetherness" defined in Wiktionary?

No comment on whether this is gooey or should be moved to Wiktionary (I don't disagree with the previous comment). The reason I went to the talk page is to support the presence of this entry. I just heard the word "togetherness" on the radio, flashed on the 50s, and went to Wikipedia to make sure that this word and its origins are memorialized *somewhere*. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.189.24.15 (talk) 12:56, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
