Departure

[edit]

Todd Grimshaw's departure will happen next year. Scenes have been filmed up to 24 December with no indication that the character is departing. His departure will be worked into subsequent storylines and therefore will not happen until 2018. That is why 2018 is the correct year for his departure from the soap, either permanently (they kill him off) or potentially temporarily (e.g. he is reported to have left Weatherfield for good).

But as far as the soap's storyline is concerned, it is impossible for the character to leave the street in 2017. His last scenes may take place at the end of December but they are not the end of the character. In Coronation Street's history he will be recorded as leaving on the date his departure is revealed during the show. Lard Almighty (talk) 17:14, 29 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The lede says clearly "his final scenes will air on 24 December 2017." Is this not correct? I would agree that details of sexual assault belong at Bruno Langley and not here. Martinevans123 (talk) 10:16, 14 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The infobox image is going to need updated now Gareth has started in the role.

Do we keep the image of Bruno and just move it elsewhere in the infobox? Or do we remove the image of him altogether? 5 albert square (talk) 21:00, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I think we should move it elsewhere in the infobox, as he did portray the role on-off for almost 17 years. DaniloDaysOfOurLives (talk) 21:32, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, like how multiple images are kept on Dotty Cotton or Louise Mitchell, as examples. – DarkGlow (talk) 22:47, 11 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
