Hello Melmann. The cited article does not refer to Hendy in any capacity other than as an example of a YouTuber who has made a video about IQ. It is misrepresentative to claim she has received criticism since the article does not criticise her work. Lemonys-cricket (talk) 07:41, 12 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Lemonys-cricket:The article uses Hendy's video as an example of what it claims to be 'irresponsible' coverage of IQ topics, thus my reading is that it throw's Hendy into the same basket it is critical of. Hence why criticism seems appropriate. However, I have added the verify tag and hopefully we can get some further input from the community. Melmann 15:15, 13 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Melmann:The article does not use Hendy's video as an example of 'irresponsible' coverage of IQ topics. The relevant quote from the source is: 'Although some of the top results “debunk” the usefulness of IQ, most of them do not.' The author does not state or imply whether Hendy's video "debunks" the usefulness of IQ or not. Thus it is inaccurate and inappropriate to state that she recieved criticism. @Melmann:I have removed the sentence in accordance to the policies outlined in https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons "Contentious material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately" and https://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Wikipedia:Verifiability "burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material" since the source material is inappropriate to the claim.Lemonys-cricket (talk) 01:47, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Lemonys-cricket: I still disagree with your interpretation of the source, but since this is a WP:BLP let's err on the side of remove and wait for further input from the community. Melmann 23:25, 24 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The Vice article mentions her channel with a link to a video about a Mensa IQ test, that's all. Their complaint seems to be that some people/channels, including Hendy/Tibees, are using the term 'IQ' as clickbait: Many channels—including ones with moderate followings like Crispy Concords, Tibees, and Quick Reaction Team—have made videos in the past year that capitalize on the fact that "IQ" is now an search term goldmine on YouTube. To call that 'criticism for her coverage of topics relating to IQ' is a bit of a stretch - too much so to keep it in the article. BlackcurrantTea (talk) 21:04, 25 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

GNG

[edit]

Does this even meet the WP:GNG? I don't think that Wikipedia should have a separate page for every blogger on the internet... AXONOV (talk) 23:05, 14 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
