An additional resource on Tobin's life
[edit]Hello! Thank you for this page on Tobin Sorenson. Tobin and I were friends and students together at Biola College, and shortly after he died I published an article in "Athletes in Action Magazine" about his life. The article was based on interviews I had with him and others while I worked as a writer for Biola's PR department, and won a "Best Personality Feature of the Year" award in 1981 from the Evangelical Press Association. That magazine is now defunct but I have a copy of that article, which is focused on his record-breaking solo climb of the Matterhorn's North Face, on my website here: https://LarryShort.com/2025/02/07/beyond-the-matterhorn-tobin-sorenson/
I thought you might like to add it to the "Additional Resources" list on your page. My article also contains photos of Tobin which you could use.
Thank you!
