Toño (footballer, born 1986) → Toño Ramírez – WP:COMMONNAME generally includes his last name "Ramírez" as per external links and references, and better disambiguator than just his nickname. Ortizesp (talk) 14:14, 12 February 2020 (UTC) —Relisting. Jerm (talk) 20:50, 19 February 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose Per WP:COMMONNAME, he's commonly known as Toño, as seen here and here. NNADIGOODLUCK (Talk|Contribs) 19:00, 12 February 2020 (UTC)
- References 4, 5, 6, and 11 and BDFutbol external link list him as "Toño Ramírez" so it's about evenly split. It's common enough that it works as page title, and better disambiguates than just his diminutive.--Ortizesp (talk) 15:11, 13 February 2020 (UTC)
- Neither of 1 or 2 are quality sources, they are not reliable independent secondary source coverage. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 03:20, 26 February 2020 (UTC)

- Support. It is not unusual that a shortened form of a personal name is more common than the full name. But we don't put articles at "Trump" or "Obama." COMMONNAME is not the right guideline to look at. See WP:SINGLENAME. Colin Gerhard (talk) 13:15, 14 February 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose vehemently, "Toño Ramírez" is a name/nickname compound (do "Luís Nani", "Ricardo Kaká" and several others look like proper article names to you? No? So why should this one?) --Quite A Character (talk) 20:00, 18 February 2020 (UTC)
- I don't mean this in a combative way, but you are objectively wrong in this case. The 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 11th reference, BDFutbol external link all list him as "Toño Ramírez". Toño is a diminutive of his first name, Antonio, and not a nickname in the same way as Kaká and Nani.@Quite A Character:.--Ortizesp (talk) 15:09, 20 February 2020 (UTC)
- I see where you are coming from @Ortizesp:, but i still feel strongly against the move, it just does not sound right in my book. Thanks for the input, and as always i'll respect what the majority says. --Quite A Character (talk) 15:52, 20 February 2020 (UTC)

- Support per WP:NATURALDAB. Doesn't matter whether it's the most common name, it's common enough to be preferable to parenthetical disambiguation. BegbertBiggs (talk) 14:39, 25 February 2020 (UTC)
- Support. The first three references refer to him as "Toño Ramírez". "Commonly known as" seem to be referring to a "within context" reference. Titles are for very wide audiences. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 03:18, 26 February 2020 (UTC)
