Quote from Ullmann's Encyclopedia

[edit]

Ullmann's is a solid secondary and technical source, without an apparent agenda.

"2.1.9. Toxicology Titanium dioxide is ... regarded as completely nontoxic. .... animals ... fed TiO2 over a long period give no indication of titanium uptake.... Absorption of finely divided TiO2 pigments in the lungs does not have any carcinogenic effect" --Smokefoot (talk) 15:01, 16 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Production

[edit]

Would be nice to know how nano-TiO2 is produced. Presently the article refers to generic routes to TiO2, which is better than nothing I guess. --Smokefoot (talk) 16:31, 16 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
