Tina Clayton Lord?

[edit]

Not that this is a big deal, but I think this character is better known as Tina Lord Roberts. She pretty much stopped using the Clayton name as soon as she found out she was Victor's daughter (1985) and I believe she was referred to as Tina Lord Roberts through her remaining run on the series (Karen Witter and Krista Tesreau). It gets a bit hairy here, because after Tina and Cord's divorce, she twice remarried before being written off for good. Plus Soapnet, Soap Central, and TV.com all refer to her as Tina Clayton Lord. In general, however, I think female characters articles should have their maden, rather than married, names on them. - Incognito9810 02:14, 16 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
That's just it, her maiden name is technically Lord, Ted Clayton was not her father; using Clayton is the equivalent of saying "Matthew Rappaport Buchanan." But I had checked and most of the sites do use that name for some reason, so I didn't move it back to TLR. TAnthony 16:04, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Main picture

[edit]

Not that I know how to do this myself, and I understand the uniformity of using old montage pictures, but given the quality and the weird sepia coloring of the picture I REALLY think we ought to find a new one of Andrea Evans for the main picture here. Someone who has never seen the '80s opening might barely know what they're looking at.--Jbt1138 (talk) 12:50, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Return

[edit]

Just to ease people's minds, AE's return has been confirmed by ABC.Jbt1138 (talk) 02:52, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That's great, is there something available online as a reference, or was it in one of the magazines? — TAnthonyTalk 03:34, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I believe it's in Soap Opera Weekly. Jbt1138 (talk) 04:46, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move

[edit]

I am requesting that an assisted move of this article to Tina Lord be made. Andrea Evans was credited as "Tina Lord" in the 13 June 2008 episode, which seems to me to be her common name anyway. The series has not used "Clayton" since the character was established as Victor Lord's daughter in 1985. — TAnthonyTalk 05:46, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Further, ABC.com's own announcement of Evans' return refers to the character as "Tina Lord," as does Viki's character page on ABC.com and this feature on SOAPnet.com (a network also owned by ABC). The character's Soaps.com profile is also "Tina Lord." — TAnthonyTalk 15:14, 15 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article was moved here on 21 June 2008. — TAnthonyTalk 03:06, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
