Not a credible entry. Obviously created by someone from the Times-Leader. Poorly cited and klutzy language. No one gives a hoot about who ran the Times-Leader - besides mid-level executives trying to distract internet-savvy recruiters. 74.45.230.226 (talk) 09:01, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

History

In the early 1970s following mergers and discontinuance of the afternoon papers, it was known by the cumbersome name of The Times Leader Evening News Wilkes-Barre Record. I believe it was CapCities which simplified the name just before or after the strike. Bob305 (talk) 23:36, 10 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
