There is a problem here. This page is entitled "timeline of the FLQ", and start in 1960. Various event are listed, but the foundation of the FLQ happen in october 1963. Therefore, this timeline should start in 1963, and all previous event should be removed. The implication here is that these events (1960-1963) are the action of terrorists, which they are not. The idea is to put some context for the "birth" of the FLQ so people do not think it comes out of nowhere. The contemporary movement for the independence of Quebec (of which the FLQ is a part) happens within the context of greater social agitation which came to be called the Quiet Revolution (as you know I am sure). -- Mathieugp (talk) 23:26, 22 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed, but I'm afraid that this give the impression, for example, that Jean Lesage is the spiritual father of FLQ. The main FLQ page should provide the appropriate context, but the timeline should only mention event directly linked (or assumed to be linked) to the FLQ, I think. A background section should be named as such (ex). Election results are in here, as well as loosely-related (or unrelated, as far as I know) event such as the foundation of a socialist party (PSQ), some cleanup would be helpful. Maybe some items can be removed if you think they are too loosely-related to the topic. -- Mathieugp (talk) 23:31, 24 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
