Article quality
[edit]The quality of this article is so poor. It should be deleted. Carstensen (talk) 14:10, 19 September 2011 (UTC)
- Personally, I don't feel we should delete any articles for lack of content or a need for improvement. It's better to start somewhere than nowhere. =) EpicWitch (talk) 02:56, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
Expanding Article and Notes
[edit]Hello All! I just wanted to pop in and leave a talk message and follow Wiki protocol as best as I can. I am attempting to expand upon this wiki article. It is my intention to organize the page, add notable and reliable references and fix any other faults within this article, so that it is more comprehensive than it was when I first found it.
Please know that I am not a seasoned wiki-editor, and that I would love any and all assistance in expanding on this article. So please let me know if there is anything I can change before we start reverting everything, or if there is something else that I need to add or change to the changes I've added. Thanks! - As of 7:30pm PST, I have added a Table of Contents, some sections with century headings and some starter text in the intro section and the "21st century" section, where I intend to expand so they do not stay in such a sad state. I did this specifically so that if there is one or two things that someone feels need to be reverted, the rest of what I worked on, won't have to be lost. Please let me know if changes need to be made. EpicWitch (talk) 03:34, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
- As of 3am PST, I have expanded upon the information within this timeline, added a few citations and corrected various spelling edits. I am giving it a rest for a while and will check back in with this stub in a few days. Please let me know where more citations are needed if you see them. Also, I ran into a problem using the correct template for citing one source multiple times. Please see the edit history and edit notes and correct if you are able to. Message me for further details if needed. Thanks! EpicWitch (talk) 11:09, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
Penicillin
[edit]This was not the first antibiotic. That was Sulfanilamide. Chemical Engineer (talk) 19:50, 11 January 2023 (UTC)
