Timeline of New York City events, crimes and disasters

[edit]

Still Needs a Lot of Work

[edit]

It is amazing how much is missing from this chronological perspective... Users should be aware that the timeline is very uneven and unreliable in its reportage as of this point in time... Stevenmitchell (talk) 05:47, 25 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The way the 1980s and 1990s are drafted is a complete disaster. Incomplete sentences, bad structure and no attributions. This timeline is a mess. --Emilitog (talk) 16:03, 25 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Page layout

[edit]

The design of Timeline of the San Francisco Bay Area differs slightly from the Timeline of NYC. It especially streamlines the layout of years with multiple events (centered headings, fewer bullet points, etc.). Thoughts? Any interest in revising the NYC timeline layout? (Following the San Francisco model, the layout of the Timeline of Boston was recently revised. See changes here). -- M2545 (talk) 07:01, 29 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

Why delete Grandmaster Flash?

[edit]

Why was this deleted? "1978: Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five musical group formed." Explanation would be appreciated. Thanks. -- M2545 (talk) 15:36, 10 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Propose removing the section "Murders by year"

[edit]

I would like to propose removing the section "Murders by year" from this article. Murders by year is already a section of the more appropriate Crime in New York City article. HugoHelp (talk) 17:46, 8 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I totally disagree! Forza NYCFC !! (talk) 23:21, 29 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
