When I read this article I quickly searched over the net for any information relating to estimated life of earth(based oldest rock found on earth). I was glad to find(being a proud Indian :) ) that the estimated lapsed time of earth is in the range on 3.7 to 3.9 billion years(Human Years).Which is well within the life of 1 "Kalpa" = 4.32 Billion years. If the hindu Beliefs are true, then it is impossible to find a rock older than 1 "kalpa" as Lord "Shiva" would have brought in "Pralay" and a new earth would have been born loosing any evidence of any rocks belonging to a previous "kalpa".How ever the life of the universe could be well be beyond 4.32 billion years and hence any metor, or rock from any other part of the universe could be well beyond 4.32 billion years old.

Based upon this assumption if 3.9 billion years have elapsed out of 4.32 bilion years, then it means that earth has 1.43 billion years left before the next "pralay". I say "next" because it may or may not be the first ever.
