Popularity

I've put the weasel tag on the vague claim that Franz Ferdinand et al are "considered widely to be less popular than Oasis". Whether or not a reference is forthcoming, I'd rather it just said "are less popular"; or not. I'm not changing it as I don't know if it's true one way or the other, though. Article Improvement

I've just had a brief look through some of the Keane articles. Many of them seem to be sloppy and not cohesive. For instance, in his first mention in this article, "Dominic" is referred to by his first name only. The reader has not been introduced to him previously, which seems to imply that this was taken from another article (or another website altogether). The article alternates between using first names and last names. As this is an encyclopedia, last names should be used throughout. There are two Toms mentioned - Tom Chaplin, and Tom Rice-Oxley (if Tim's brother Tom uses the same last name). "Tim" shared a flat with "Tom" - which Tom? Please help fix similar, simple errors if you notice them in these articles. I'll fix what I can, but I came to these as a reader, not a knowledgeable editor.

Also, perhaps the person who provided the quote from Q magazine could shed some light on its meaning. As it is, it means nothing. When was it said? Why? Context is needed.

Additionally, what is a "fill-up" or "filling up"? The article currently reads:

"When Scott played lead guitar, Rice-Oxley took on the role of bass guitarist and did fill-ups as bass was not really important in the songs they played."

"When Scott left the band in July of 2001, Rice-Oxley started playing the piano, and ditched his "filling-up" image to become the driving force of all Keane songs."
