Divided in two?
[edit]I have found an article from the Surrey Advertiser of 12 March 1971 that says that Tigbourne Court was to be "converted into two self-contained dwellings". I can't find any further information about the plan, so it's not clear if the division took place. (It's also possible that any change made could have been reversed at a later date.) Does anyone know any more? Thanks, Mertbiol (talk) 18:58, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
- Mertbiol the Lutyens Trust [1] could be a fruitful source.SovalValtos (talk) 19:54, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks @SovalValtos: I did look at the Lutyens Trust website, but couldn't find anything. Perhaps I should email them in the New Year. Best wishes, Mertbiol (talk) 21:29, 5 December 2023 (UTC)
- It does appear that the house was divided in the early 1970s. I have added some additional information to the article. It would be good to find out whether the house is still partitioned or if it is a single dwelling again. Mertbiol (talk) 21:08, 7 December 2023 (UTC)
