I'm not familiar with the river, but I'm going to try to clean up the intro. It needs help from a native English speaker. Former text: "The name Tietê was registered for the first time on a map of the year 1748: the map d’Anville[2] ,In tupi, the name signifies "The truthful river", or " truthful waters[3]" 173.164.86.190 (talk) 18:29, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There's more in the sources section I've found. I don't think "cobbles" is appropriately used, also. After a dictionary check it seems to be a made-up usage, although I have to admit I like the use. 173.164.86.190 (talk) 18:34, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What should I do?
Speedy deletions at commons tend to take longer than they do on Wikipedia, so there is no rush to respond. If you feel the deletion can be contested then please do so (commons:COM:SPEEDY has further information). Otherwise consider finding a replacement image before deletion occurs.
