Sabreen Abdelrahman's Peer Review
[edit]Lead: The lead is straight to the point and gives readers a good understanding of the topic of the article.
Structure: To help better understand the topic, the content might better be structured by calling the "About the Movement" section "Background" and then creating two corresponding sections titled "Goals" and "History." Next, it might be helpful to split up "The Fallout" section into more categories before "The Firing of Darboe" so that it's not as long and flows easier. The section titles could be more concise and the pictures placed so that they do not interrupt any paragraphs.
Balance: Besides the Fallout section which could be broken up a little, the rest of the article is well-balanced.
Neutral Content: You do a great job of clearly presenting the facts and staying neutral throughout the article.
Sources: There are plenty of informative sources but it might be helpful to add sources from academic journals that could also bring more depth to the article and help present the topic in a neutral manner.

Neutrality and Detail
[edit]Despite what the peer reviewer said above, this article is not functioning in an encyclopedic fashion. It has way too much petty detail on matters that are only of interest to the group itself, but questionable or useless to the general reader. And it is pretty much a repeat of the group's mission statement with complaints about President Barrow and the group's trial. It reads much more like a complaint-filled autobiography than an encyclopedic article. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (Talk|Contribs) 17:05, 8 June 2020 (UTC)
- Yes, this article is insane. It would better serve readers looking for an encyclopedic article to have this page deleted and for them to look for other sources. El819 (talk) 01:21, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
