Thompson vs Thomson
[edit]Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone could tell me as to why some sources refer to this lake with or without the 'p'. I've found some academic articles that are referring to this exact lake as Thompson; whilst I can see on government sites it is missing the 'p'. Did the spelling change after some time? Who is this lake named after? I wonder if there is a sign in the area that may answer my questions. Regards, HSIEteacher (talk) 05:45, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
