I added a reference to the Freightliner C2 page, and it might be a good idea to merge the two pages together. There is a lot of duplicated information for what is basically the same bus.Cascade1988 (talk) 04:40, 24 August 2014 (UTC)Cascade1988[reply]

Proposed merge with Freightliner C2

Is it really MUX?

[edit]

The article refers to multiplexing, and I agree that some people refer to the system as multiplex, but is it really? MUX is combining signals into one, whereas most of the systems like this are variations of a CAN network which is different. Freightliner has their SmartPlex system which probably deserves its own description, and my understanding is that the backbone of the electrical system is a network rather than a MUX signal as described in the link.

Height

[edit]

What is the height of this bus, for figuring out which low bridges it can fit under? 172.101.11.228 (talk) 15:34, 2 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I added reference to the Saf-T-Liner Jouley.
