Suggestions for improving this page

[edit]

Right now, it seems like it reads too much like it's too much from the pages of manufacturers' literature. There is some that can be done to expand the article (as there are more stubs about individual bus models out there now), but this one still just reads like it was from a Thomas webpage. Article re-write

[edit]

For most intents and purposes, the article no longer reads like it was a Thomas Built Buses webpage. As far as referencing the content, it is a little behind, but the manufacturer information does a good job of backing everything up. That will be worked on in the future. Instead of the "Features", it goes into the "Design History", keeping it in line with many of the similar bus articles on here. --SteveCof00 (talk) 23:05, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think what it needs now is more background info on the previous versions of the EF and HDX, as well as the discontinued models. The specification table for the current EF and HDX is very helpful; having a similar table for the older and discontinued models would be great. –BMRR (talk) 23:32, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Page move suggestion

[edit]

I am suggesting a move for this page. As this is the newest model of a family of Saf-T-Liner models, I am proposing moving this article to Thomas Saf-T-Liner instead of its current location. First, this would allow for all Thomas Type D school buses. Second, this is how the articles are written for competitive school bus manufacturer Blue Bird Corporation; this would bring some sort of consistency. Third, this would allow for the inclusion of content about the Thomas Saf-T-Liner EF, another current model, without creating a relatively orphaned, undeveloped stub.

Good idea. Works for me. –BMRR (talk) 19:27, 19 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Comparable products section

[edit]

As this layout of this article goes just as much off of the Automobiles WikiProject as the Buses one, I do have this question about its content.

When it comes to the "Comparable products" section, should this section be deleted? This is not something one would see outside a "See Also" section (which this article lacks...) and it makes things a bit more neutral. --SteveCof00 (talk) 11:04, 16 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
