London Gazette refs
[edit]I decided to trawl through the London Gazette to see if I could track down some of his promotions etc. I didn't have much luck, but I found the citation for his KBE[1], a Croix de Guerre[2] and The Order of St. Vladimir, 4th Class, with Swords.[3] I'll leave them here for others to work out where they're best-placed in the article.
