Remove 'more footnotes' template

Hello, I've just been editing this article, adding in more information backed up by sources. I suggest the 'more footnotes' template can be removed, but I don't want to be presumptuous! I've noticed that there are about 19 citations on this page, but I don't think that all of them are being used. Could someone go into the citation section and condense this section?
