pov, coi, notability?

This article has (had) a serious POV/COI problem (just check the history). I removed the summary of the dissertation in part because it seemed too much like a vanity section, and in part because of a lack of notability--there's not a single mention of the title in Google News, Scholar, or Books. More cutting might need to be done in what is now the second paragraph of the article. Drmies (talk) 19:51, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
